Aspire Mayfield

The room was quite dirty, and the bed was the worst I've ever slept on. The floor was more comfortable. For two people staying two nights, there was just one roll of toilet paper and one chair. The shower door wouldn't close, and the mirror was tiny. I wouldn't recommend this even to my worst enemy.

The only good thing is that it's near a train station. The bed had a really vile, strong, putrid odor, and there were stains and mould all over the room. The room isn't worth the price, and the bathroom door lock is faulty. This has to be the dirtiest, most unclean hotel I've stayed at. Don't stay here unless you want to be disappointed. If I could, I'd give it a one-star rating.

We walked in and walked right back out. The whole place was rank and didn't feel safe. The back fire exit from the underground garage had no gates or security, and it was so damaged it couldn't even shut, opening onto long, narrow corridors. There was barely any air, just two windows that only opened about 5cm. The entire place smelled like faeces, and that smell came right through into the room we'd booked. The door was loose from the lock. Carpet ran from the entrance through the room, covered in stains and chewing gum, with streaks of who knows what all over the walls. I'd booked for a friend through a third-party app that showed okay reviews. Should've checked Google reviews first. Don't go there.

The place was peaceful, with great facilities. The rooms were tidy, the kitchen was well maintained, and everything was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended!
