Motto Farm Motel

The room conditions were disgusting: urine-stained beds, mouldy floors with patches of missing carpet and bare concrete, cockroaches in the microwave, and mould in the air-conditioning. Staff were also rude to guests. The overnight worker was especially intimidating. He wore a body camera and turned it on, followed guests to their rooms, demanded to see their keys, blocked people with his body when they tried to get into or out of their cars, and put out traffic cones. He impersonated a security officer. Don’t stay at this motel. Take your business elsewhere.

The manager, Micheal, was very rude, and there was a man at night who intimidated guests. The place was filthy, with cockroaches, smelly rooms, mould on the linen, a fridge caked in ice, and stained carpet. One bed was badly burnt underneath and stank, while two others were covered in urine but had simply been made up. Both TVs were broken. There’s no room service, cutlery, or cooking facilities, and a huge pile of junk sits out back. Disgusting place. I’d rate it zero. Yuck.

Most of the other staff were friendly and good, but one male staff member made the stay uncomfortable. He wore a police body cam, questioned everything I did, and followed me to my room, then stood by my car until he could see the keys working in the door. He was rude, arrogant, and neglectful, and really brings the place down. I was grateful to have a bed, but my room had cockroaches everywhere, including baby ones, and bedbugs too. They refused to give me fresh linen, so I had to use the same bath towels for seven days. I was covered in cuts and bruises from being bashed and left blood on the towels after each shower.

Staff communication was horrible, and my room was entered without permission. My things were packed up and removed without any notice. More than $300 worth of my belongings went missing, and I’ve had no communication or agreement about resolving it. The room also stank of wet carpet and mould. Absolutely appalling.
