Breakfast at the diggers club really rounded off our stay, though the in-room menu says 0630 and it actually starts at 0700. The motel was great value for the price, with very clean rooms, a comfortable bed and all the amenities we needed. Staff were friendly from the moment we arrived, and we loved having a coffee pod machine for a decent coffee in bed in the morning. We'd definitely stay again.

The Diggers RSL Bistro food, and the other reviews of it, aren't that great, which is a shame given how close it is. There are plenty of good cafes and restaurants nearby, though. I was visiting from interstate for three nights and found this hotel better than most around Newcastle. The rooms were a good size, comfortable and clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and there was a ramp to diggers rsl plus plenty of undercover parking.

The hotel is close to shops and several food options, yet it's wonderfully quiet inside. I've stayed here several times over the past few years because the rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The hot water pressure is amazing. Staff are consistently friendly, helpful and quick to respond, parking is ample, and check-in and checkout are easy.

We got an accessible room and it was fantastic, the best accessible hotel or motel room we've stayed in. There was enough space in the bathroom and the bed was very comfortable. We were warmly welcomed when we arrived, and the covered entrance made getting into the hotel easy after a day of heavy rain.

The fridge came with drinks and milk, which added a bit of extra value. Our room was spacious and clean, and parking was conveniently right beside the residence. It was very comfortable, and I'd definitely stay again.
