Banyandah Towers

We stayed in the ocean-themed accommodation and everything in the apartment was so clean. It had a heated pool and spa, safe parking, and was within walking distance of all the amenities. I was actually quite sad to leave. Definitely coming back! 🩵🩵🩵

The windows were wide open on level 8 without adequate barriers or safety mechanisms. That felt like a serious risk, especially for families with young children, and left us concerned about whether building safety standards and regulations were being met. We couldn’t recommend Banyandah Towers, particularly for families, based on this experience. When I tried to raise the safety issues, management’s conduct was extremely unprofessional. My calls were repeatedly dismissed, and the manager hung up on me more than once while I was trying to discuss legitimate concerns. That showed no accountability or care for guests. We explained the problems and the distress caused by the condition of the property and how our concerns were handled, but were refused a refund. That was disappointing and unreasonable. I’d strongly advise against booking a holiday here. If something goes wrong, they may not help or refund you, despite being legally obligated to do so. I request an urgent review of this matter and appropriate action on both the safety issues and how the situation was handled.

For what we paid, the facilities were impressive, and the staff were friendly. It’s an older place, but we had a great stay and found it lovely and clean. Ocean St is only a few minutes’ walk away. The view was amazing, and fishing from the jetty was really fruitful. We caught lots of bream and a few other things. Neighbours were quiet too. I’d highly recommend it for an affordable stay with a river view.

I haven’t been inside the building, but I keep getting asked for a review because I live nearby and Google thinks I’m visiting. From outside it looks good and clean, though I can’t say what the interior is like. I can say the location is very good: there’s excellent parking, Maroochydore’s amenities are close, and nightlife is a five min walk away. The building has excellent Ocean views, right by the river / Ocean. If I were holidaying in Maroochydore, I’d be more than happy to stay here. The area is quiet in the evening, so you can relax in your room or sit on the balcony with a drink and chat about the weather, your weight problem or the mother-in-law and her interference in your marriage. Hopefully Google stops asking me to leave a review now.
