Space Holiday Apartments

We had a week-long family stay in mid March and really enjoyed it. There were seven of us, three couples and a toddler, and the apartment was very spacious. It’s an easy walk to Sunshine plaza and close to key amenities. We noticed one or two minor maintenance issues, but Greg, the manager, was very helpful. There’s a good Mexican restaurant downstairs too. We’d definitely consider returning.

We stay in the area to be near our relatives, and Space is well located and maintained. The managers were hospitable, and we’d be happy to return. When we first entered the fourth floor apartment, we were wowed by the decor and space. Unfortunately, the carpet had just been cleaned after previous guests, and even with the windows open and a fan running overnight, it was squishy in the morning. We reluctantly asked to move. The replacement apartment wasn’t as impressive, but its tiled floors made it functional.

The cafe downstairs does good coffee and brekky, and the pool is small but enjoyable. There’s also a spa, sauna and a small, well maintained gym. We’ve stayed at Space twice and liked both visits. Since the apartments are privately owned, they can vary a lot. Our first was quite different from the second, but both worked well for us. Space is well run and in a good location.

The units were tidy and had a washer and dryer. The pool and spa were very nice, and it’s a great spot for getting to shops, cafes and the beach.
