We stayed in May with my husband and our three year old daughter. The place was spacious and well maintained, with shops and cafes nearby. They had our room ready well before check in, so we could drop off our luggage early and relax. The air con was already on when we arrived, which made us feel welcome. There was lots of email communication beforehand, and they were responsive. One staff member on the phone was super nice. We loved the huge bathtub and would love to come back 😊

We felt at home as soon as we arrived. The apartment was spotless, fully equipped, and lovely, and my son was thrilled with his room and its two beds. Maroochydore Beach is only a few minutes away on foot, the restaurant strip is a short drive or walk, and Sunshine Plaza took about seven minutes by car. The location was amazing. The admin lady who helped me add an extra day was wonderful, and made rebooking easy. I’ve forgotten her name, but thank you for accommodating my family. I also liked getting a text on our first night, it made me feel a bit special. The elevators could use some maintenance and a little paint here and there, though it didn’t bother us. We stayed from 03/10/24-06/10/24 and would happily come back. Five stars!

The balcony was lovely, and the hotel is in a good location. The staff were very nice, too, but the room was disappointing. Every sheet had orange or brown stains, and there were dirty socks and jeans under the TV cabinet, visible from the bed. The curtains were stained as well. The BBQ was filthy, had no tongs, and was difficult to find near the construction work. At night the pool area was completely dark, despite having a fence, which made it feel dangerous. The shower overflowed and leaked onto the floor, so we had to turn it off every so often. The Wi-Fi rarely worked.

A week before our arrival, the Queensland border was closed because of the Coronavirus spike in NSW. We had booked five nights at Sunshine Towers Boutique Apartments in Maroochydore, but our booking was already in the non-refundable period, so we were devastated and feared losing everything we had paid. Andrea (The Manager) was kind, honest, and fantastic to deal with. She understood the situation and gladly refunded the full amount. We’re very grateful. In such uncertain times, it’s reassuring to deal with someone flexible and considerate. I highly recommend Andrea and encourage people to stay at Sunshine Towers Boutique Apartments, knowing you’ll be looked after by an honest host and manager.

For a family holiday, the location was ideal, with shops, restaurants, and the beach all nearby. The apartments were clean and comfortable.
