The shower had seriously strong pressure, and the beds were clean and really comfortable. This is a well-run motel owned locally, just out of town. The rooms were updated and clean, the air conditioning worked well, and the price was great. I also liked finding a Gideons Bible in the room.

The shared barbecue area was a welcome extra, with cold glasses waiting in the fridge for a beer after the dusty drive. We made an unplanned stop during the Christmas break and were surprised by how clean and good-quality the rooms were, since the outside doesn’t give much away. Mathoura sits off the main road and is worth a look. Great value.

Staying here works really well when you’re visiting Mathoura, with the Mathoura Bowling Club right across the road. The rooms at Redgum Motel are modern and spotless, everything works, and the beds are super comfortable. The price feels just right.

We were fitted in at very short notice on a busy weekend, and the customer service was great. Our room hadn’t been renovated yet, but it was still a good stay, with plenty of space, clean sheets, and an adequate bathroom. I’d definitely come back if the opportunity comes up.
