That spa was wonderful. We had champagne while soaking in it and listening to music, just heavenly. In March 2018 my husband and I stayed in the city view cottage, with our own parking spot and entrance among lots of greenery. The breakfast provisions were so generous that we couldn't finish them, and the clean bed and linens were comfortable. At sunset, we had tea on our balcony overlooking the city, which was beautiful. We only wished we could stay longer. The one downside is that it makes you reluctant to head home. Highly recommended.

The setting was pretty, and the location worked well for visiting the Dandenongs. Everything was tidy and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. For two people, though, it felt quite cramped, especially with all the luggage. The little deck could have made it feel roomier, but the furniture was still quite wet after recent rain. Breakfast for all three mornings was left in the unit. There was plenty, though we only used much of the fruit.

The city view was spectacular, and the gas fire kept us warm. The bed was very comfortable, and we had a lovely stay this past weekend. Breakfast for two days was a generous continental spread, though I would have preferred raspberry or blueberry jam with my croissant. There was only apricot, and just enough for one morning. We couldn't find tissues anywhere, and although a note said washing our dishes was our responsibility, there was no sponge. A fuller list of nearby restaurants and attractions would have helped. I was also concerned that the gas heater sat right on the floorboards, which were very hot around it and seemed like a fire hazard.

Such a cute, peaceful cottage in a central spot. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We had an amazing two-night stay and could easily have stayed longer. Highly recommend.

The Garden Cottage is small, but it has what you need for a Mount Dandenong stay. The cottages or cabins are very nice. My only hesitation is the lack of shared areas, like the living room you find at many B&Bs. Breakfast was left in a basket in the room the day before, with cereal, toast, yoghurt, muffins, and fruit. Perfectly fine, just not anything special.
