Apartments Melbourne Domain

The apartment could have been nice with proper upkeep, but our stay was awful. We waited 45 minutes at the reception office because nobody was there to give us the keys. Once inside, it was still dirty and had lots of maintenance problems. The stove and oven were so greasy that using them set off the smoke alarm. There was body fluid on a wall, and the filthy carpet needed steam cleaning and hadn't been vacuumed. Our reserved parking bays were occupied, so we had to call the office and get another spot. I emailed management twice and was told the manager would come by, but nobody showed up. The shower floor tiles in both bathrooms were lifting away from the grout, and I was surprised they hadn't caused a leak to the neighbours below. Management's lack of response made it clear how little care they put into the property. I'd be embarrassed to rent it out, and I won't stay at a property managed by these people again. We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment on Albert Road in South Melbourne with our family, including small children. It was disgustingly dirty and unhygienic. Our socks were black underneath within an hour from the filthy floor, the windows were absolutely grimy, and one bed had hair all through it. The yellow-stained doona didn't even have a cover, just a sheet on top. I tried calling the staff, but of course nobody answered. A terrible, very disappointing stay.

Getting the key and then finding the apartment last night felt like a puzzle. I've posted a photo showing where the key safe is. The apartment itself was comfortable, had good views, and came with free WiFi.

The room was filthy. I waited half an hour for staff, and then only the cleaner came with the keys. They were missing the security fob, so I had to wait again. They moved us to a different building, where the room was badly cleaned, with old food still in the fridge and oily grime running down the kitchen cupboards. Never go here!
