Apartments on Flemington

James and the staff were absolutely awesome, and the location was good, about a 10-15 minute tram ride into the city. But I don't understand all the great reviews. The rooms are small, old and dirty, and the windows don't close properly, so it got really cold at night. The bathroom ventilation blows hard and loudly if the light is on, making a shower so cold and annoying that it seemed better to shower in the dark. The toilet seat wouldn't stay up and fell against my back while I was sitting down. It was so noisy, it felt like the tram was going through my pillow. Good, stable WiFi in the evenings? Good luck. For just one or two nights, it might be okay, but I wouldn't stay longer.

I stayed for a little over a month during and after my wife's transplant. Elaine and James were incredibly accommodating and helpful through that difficult time. The rooms were cleaned regularly and very well, and the two cleaners were friendly too. It's close to the CBD, tram stop 15 and especially the hospital, which made our lives much easier.

We stayed eight days and found the apartment very clean and comfortable. The tram stops are handy, and you can also walk to everything you need. The staff were friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. Victoria Fencing Centre was a 15-20 minute walk or an inexpensive taxi ride away.

The staff were really friendly and ready to help with anything. They were accommodating when our schedule changed because of a hospital stay. Rooms were very clean and tidy, and the location was great, close to the CBD but not too close.
