We spent about three months here as a family of four with two kids, and the people managing the apartment were really good. The location worked well, with a tram stop right outside and Woolworths nearby. We liked the view, though the nearby motorway made it noisy with the windows open. We could still hear some noise at night with them shut, which could be an issue if you need quiet to sleep. The dining table was also a bit unsteady, especially with children.

The arts precinct location was ideal, with the city close by and a tram stop just outside. The apartment was well maintained and had everything we needed. We enjoyed picking up coffee downstairs and taking it to the terrace to enjoy the view on a sunny day. Host Chris was quick to respond and sort out any questions or problems. We'd definitely stay again.

I arrived in Melbourne after travelling from the eastern United States and discovered I had no reservation, even though Chris MacDonald and I both thought the booking had been completed. I really appreciate the effort Chris put into fixing that major mix-up. Using a housekeeper's phone, I got in touch with him, and he patiently helped me find somewhere to stay. He even met me in person on Saturday. The first apartment we found would have meant moving halfway through my stay, but Chris kept working on it and arranged a place where I could stay the whole time. I'm deeply grateful for how far he went to make it work.

We had a lovely stay with our dog and would go back in a heartbeat. The apartment is in a cool, central spot, and the included undercover car park felt safe and secure. It's close to the Freeway, but that didn't bother us. Highly recommended.

We stayed four nights over New Year's 2017 and would happily return. The apartment felt like home, with plenty of space, a tidy, ultra-chic look and most of what we needed. Trams stop right outside, and it is an easy walk to many amenities and three blocks from Crown casino. It worked well for a family or a couple's getaway. We felt safe, and the car park was locked and secure.
