Avani Melbourne Box Hill Residences

Being able to stay right across from Epworth Eastern Hospital suited our needs, and the accommodation was extremely convenient. Most of all, during a very hard time for our family, the staff cared for us so well while we supported a family member there. Chris and Rebecca at reception made things much more bearable with their compassion. When a booking issue came up near the end of our stay, manager Thanuja went above and beyond to make sure we could stay in the same room during a crisis. We truly appreciated that kindness. The staff consistently did more than expected to make sure we had what we needed.

We felt at home throughout our stay at Avani Box Hill Residences, and the view from the 11th floor was stunning. At reception, a woman whose name I regret forgetting welcomed us with a big smile and helped us check in early. She kept asking whenever we passed by if there was anything she could do to make our stay better. She was fantastic. We'll absolutely return, and guests will be in good hands.

The kids loved the pool, and the staff were amazing. We met Thakshi, who was polite and helpful even while off duty. She showed us how to get around the hotel and suggested some great local restaurants for dinner. A couple of things needed attention: the second balcony off the master bedroom was covered in bird droppings, and the second bedroom has no air conditioning, which made a warmer night harder to get through. Still, I always enjoy visiting Avani. It's a great hotel chain.

Whenever I visit Melbourne, I stay here. The one-bedroom plus study works well for a longer stay, and there's parking in the basement. The staff are really nice and helpful.
