Box Hill Motel

We were visiting family in hospital and stayed for four days. We chose this old motel specifically because we wanted a clean room, and it was very clean. Jeanie was a friendly, excellent host. Despite the busy road, there was no street noise, which was a nice surprise. The beds were comfortable, the heater warmed the room quickly, and the wifi was good. There’s a park next door with walking tracks, which was lovely to get out and walk around. The hot water could be tricky, especially in the shower, but we managed. Thanks so much, Jeanie and Carol, for a great stay.

Really welcoming hospitality, and the room was clean. It’s conveniently close to Deakin University.

Jeanne made our late check-in easy. She emailed clear instructions and called on the day to follow up. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the heater was already on when we arrived. It stayed quiet despite being on a busy road. Thanks very much.

The manager was helpful and let us check in early. We had a lovely stay in a quiet place with very clean rooms. On a hot day I had the pool at the back of the property all to myself. There’s also a reserve behind the motel, with lovely bushland walks beside the Gardiner Creek.
