We’ve stayed at the Harem Cottage a few times now, and it’s such a comfortable place. The spa in the floor is amazing, and the location is hard to beat for great food and lovely people on this beautiful little street and in town. We’d love to move that way, we like it that much! After talking with the lovely Liz, any concerns we had were taken care of. We finally met Liz in person and were impressed by her enthusiasm for the place and her ideas. Everything was perfect, and I have nothing negative to say. We only got back yesterday! Thanks for everything, Liz. We’ll see you again soon. 🥰♥️🤗♥️ Cheryl and Adrian Silvester.

We wanted a relaxed anniversary break in the middle of busy work life, and the cottage was just the respite we needed. The hot tub was clean and really relaxing, and the cottage itself was very clean too. The fireplace made it so cozy, and Liz had left extra firewood, which was amazing in the cold weather. Liz was friendly and easygoing, prompt and very helpful. Amazing host and vibes.

The spa and location were the only good parts. Breakfast was just a couple of porridge sachets and two old oranges, with no milk. The coffee pods didn’t fit the machine, so we had to get dressed at 6.30am and walk to the bakery for coffee. When we tried the machine, we found it filthy and uncleaned. The welcome email mentioned extra blankets, but there weren’t any, and not even a top sheet. We were cold and uncomfortable overnight. There was no firewood either. I gave all this feedback to the manager, whose response was wholly inadequate. Very disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone I know.

Bluebells Cottage felt like home away from home, and it’s my number 1 stay in all of Melbourne so far. The spacious outdoor spa was amazing. The owners put in extra effort with breakfast and chocolates to make the stay feel special, which was very sweet. Can’t wait to return!

The place was very quiet, and there’s a great bakery in town. We enjoyed our stay and will come again. The spa heated up fine but wasn’t clean. There was no soap in the shower, so bring your own. Breakfast provisions were enough for one night, but not for two.
