Philip made us feel very welcome, and the cottage was lovely. It had all the essentials for a cozy, comfortable, relaxing stay. The spa was wonderful and the log fire was superb. There are nature walks, unique little shops, cafes and restaurants close by. Thanks for making it a stay we’ll remember :)

The cottage had so much ready for us, including bread, milk, butter, cereal, jams and honey, plus games and DVDs. There were baby cots, and the kitchen had everything, even serving platters. Phil was a great host and always available when we had questions. We loved staying here and will definitely come back. The Pig and Whistle is a great place to eat, with lovely food and friendly service. For a stay in the Dandenong ranges, I can’t imagine finding a better place.

I only wish I’d had more time to wander the grounds and take photos. The buildings and little details were beautiful and quirky, with vines, hidden garden statues and lovely nature all around. Wine on the balcony in the evening is a nice idea. The hosts were friendly and had the fire lit in my room before I arrived, so it was warm and easy to keep going by adding wood. The next day I could light it myself too, with kindling, more wood and fire starter blocks available. The spa felt a bit too rumbly even on its lowest setting, so I used it as a bath without bubbles instead. It was very relaxing.

We had a great time at the cherry blossom cottage, where my wife and I stayed to celebrate our kids' arrival in Australia. Philip greeted us warmly, showed us around the cottage and premises, and made sure we were comfortable the whole time. The place was clean and well maintained, and our cottage was in pristine condition. For somewhere lovely, peaceful and pristine, I highly recommend a visit to Dandenong Range Cottages.

We came back this year after enjoying Mulberry Cottage last year, which was clean, cosy and comfortable, with a lovely cottage and accommodating, helpful owners. The breakfast there was amazing too. This time we stayed in the mountain cottage view, and it was even better, with a spa inside and a beautiful mountain view. The breakfast was exceptional again, especially the very nice bread. Thank you, Philip, for a wonderful stay. Can’t wait to return soon. Noha & Julio, March 2018
