The animals and gardens were a real pleasure: friendly cows, sheep, chickens and ducks to feed, rabbits running about, a lovely playground and a beautiful garden. The owner has added lots of thoughtful homey touches, and the fireplace and quiet setting made it a relaxing break from the city. We stayed two nights and had a good time, but the premium price didn't feel justified. We visited in August, so perhaps the season was part of it, but the heating wasn't enough. The fireplace and heated A/C were in the living room, while the bedroom wall heater left us shivering even in Uniqlo ultra warm heat tech. The kitchen and toilet had no heat and were freezing. It's a historic farmhouse with little renovation, so some parts felt run down, with peeling floor paint, gaps in the floorboards and dusty corners. There was no wifi. That wasn't a big problem for us, but it's worth knowing when booking. At 375aud a night, we didn't think it was worth the cost.

We stayed in the Dairy House, which was comfortable, well equipped and had large, airy bedrooms with very comfortable beds. The owners were welcoming and friendly, and left us fresh eggs from their chickens. It's dog friendly, set on a large property with farm animals, vegetable gardens and an art studio. I'd highly recommend it for a weekend or midweek getaway.

Meeting Bo was a highlight. He quickly became friends with my young Zoe, and they played so well together. Our dogs also loved encountering all the gorgeous, curious farm animals, and the place is great for pets. It's also very well located for visiting local wineries, and we're looking forward to another stay. We had a wonderful time at Karina & Bob's place. The charming interiors, cosy fireplace, lovely gardens and beautiful views made it comfortable. Being able to pick vegetables and freshly laid eggs ourselves was a lovely bonus. The owners were both so welcoming and friendly.

We loved the thoughtful touches, from the fresh flowers and sumptuous breakfast to the lovely decor. Our dog had a great time exploring the gardens too. Harvest Farm was an excellent country escape. Karina and Bob were so friendly, and Bob showed us what food the ducks and chickens like best. We had fun feeding the cows, then woke to fresh country air and the sheep baa-ing each morning. Highly recommended.

The farm was scenic, and we had a great time wandering around and looking at the animals. Our toddler especially enjoyed the trampoline outside our home. We spent two lovely nights in Dairy House. Thanks for a lovely stay :)
