The balcony had a lovely park view. The room was tidy and well kept, and the bed was comfortable. It’s in a quiet part of Melbourne while still being close to everything.

We spent New Year’s Eve 2026 here. The hotel felt cozy and quiet, and our room was clean. From the balcony we had a stunning view of flagstaff garden and could clearly watch the fireworks while having drinks and dinner. Such a great night and stay.

We’ve returned several times over the past 6 months, mainly because it’s handy for the hospitals and the parking entrance is tall enough for our car. The rooms have been clean and comfortable, staff have been quite good, and they’ve followed our room requests. Renovation noise was minimal during our visits. Access to the disability parking has been hit or miss. On some visits those spaces were blocked or inaccessible, and we reported it to staff. We could use other spaces on the same level, though.

The room was so tired and dirty that I went out to buy cleaning products just to make it acceptable. It’s under renovation, but I couldn’t find any mention of that on the website. Had I known, we wouldn’t have booked. I didn’t ask for another room because I wasn’t naive enough to think the others would be better if this is their standard. I have more photos, but these should give you the idea.
