The rooms and shared areas were always clean, and everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful. Montse and Tatiana at reception were kind, always ready to help with a smile, and Matteo, Eva and Louvisa were lovely too. From my first contact, the team was responsive and accommodating. They paid attention to the details and went out of their way to make sure I was happy. I was impressed by their professionalism and the quality of their work. I’ve recommended this business to friends and family and will keep doing so. I’ll definitely use their services again, and they’ve earned a lifelong customer.

The kitchen is very small, and the common area isn’t big either, though you can head downstairs to the pub for a drink at a discount. Pint on punt is a practical, budget friendly hostel with a nice crowd and great staff. Amir at reception has gone out of his way to help us book extra nights. Julia, who cleans during the week, is friendly and helpful when we need the room cleaned or bed linen changed. The location is decent too, about a 20 minute walk to St. Kilda beach or 10 minutes by tram.

The showers were really dirty, and there were loads of flies around, which wasn't pleasant. Apart from that, the staff were nice and the rooms were good. Breakfast is included, with toast and different spreads, plus tea and coffee.

The breakfast area is really cool. It’s a laid back, more relaxed backpackers place for Melbourne, and I’d stay here again if I was in a jam. Tatty, the host, is full of energy, always rushing around to help people with a smile.
