We came for the AO tennis, and getting from the hotel to the water taxi was easy. The location and service were great, and the staff, including the cleaning and room service teams, were very friendly and made us feel comfortable. Our suite was spacious, bright, and had pretty much everything we needed, including a washer and dryer and a dishwasher. It could have been cleaner, though. The toilet seat wasn't soft-close and had stain marks, which surprised us at a five-star hotel. There was also quite a bit of noise because of the location. The balcony doors weren't soundproof enough, even though we checked that they were shut properly.

The location worked perfectly for our concert at Hamer Hall, right behind the hotel, and we could park early before the show, close to the venue. The included breakfast was tasty, and the barista-made coffee was a nice bonus. The gentlemen on evening reception were so attentive and happy to help with anything. We loved the upgrade and birthday gift. First stay here, but definitely not our last. It's our new favorite.

Daily housekeeping was among the best I've experienced, and the room itself looked new and was well equipped. The website photos actually matched the room's condition, which isn't always the case. Quay West Suites is also well placed for walks along Southbank or into the CBC, with a tram stop just a short walk away. I highly recommend it.

The beds were especially comfortable after long days out, and the apartment had everything we needed. We had a very pleasant, relaxing stay in Southbank and would happily return. It was also easy to get around Melbourne, with the river, transport, and plenty of places to eat nearby.

We found the location convenient for exploring nearby, and the hotel restaurant had a varied, delicious menu. From arrival, the atmosphere felt welcoming. Our room was spacious, spotless, and had comfortable bedding; it was peaceful throughout our visit. Staff were consistently polite and efficient. We were very pleased with the stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing break.
