The staff at the Hotel were friendly and helpful, and meals from the Sandown Park Hotel can be ordered to your room at reasonable prices. The room was clean and spacious, with its own balcony, and parking is on site at no extra cost. Security around the accommodation and car park was good. There’s some road noise from the main road, though it can be blocked if you’re prepared. I’d stay again.

The beds are so comfortable, and the central location is great. The staff make you feel welcome, almost like you’re coming home. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

I’m giving one star because the staff on site were friendly. Afterward, though, dealing with the staff about our issue was awful. They were impatient and unfriendly, didn’t admit their mistakes, failed to reply for a month and gave us no updates. When we finally called, Cathy sounded annoyed and said they’d answered all our calls and emails. Strange, because the people I copied in didn’t get a reply either. In the end, we were charged twice and never got our money back.

The motel, room and staff were all fine, and it was surprisingly quiet despite being on Princes Hwy. I was only there for about 12 hours, slept and showered, and didn’t even make coffee, so I know I left the room in good condition. Still, they take a $200 bond “just in case” you break something, and I’m waiting to get it back. I understand why they do it, but as a pensioner with my rego due in two days, I really need that money returned ASAP. Thank you 😊
