I enjoyed my stay and would come back. The hotel’s setting within the children's hospital is a feature I really liked, and the welcoming foyer was a nice place to relax. There’s also a table tennis table guests can use for free. The staff were friendly and professional, and my room was spacious and clean. I only wish they provided complimentary bottled water, as many hotels do. Farmacy’s breakfast menu is fairly limited, though the servings are generous. I didn’t look at the lunch or dinner menu. They serve St Ali coffee, which was nice but cold.

Parking is convenient and roomy, and the rooms are great. We’ve stayed at the Larwill many times, both when our son needed care at the Royal Children's Hospital and on other trips to Melbourne. Since the hotel connects to the hospital, it’s just an elevator ride to appointments, Macca's, the supermarket and other in-house conveniences.

We always sleep well here. The beds are comfortable, and we never hear noise from other guests or anything else. The staff are consistently friendly and helpful, and the rooms are ALWAYS clean and hygienic. Thanks to the wonderful cleaning staff, they’re the cleanest within 2km. TURNKEY is the next cleanest.

The park view room was well worth booking, and I found the hotel lovely and quiet. The staff were lovely too, and the bed was really comfortable. It’s in a fantastic spot just outside the city. A couple of small things could be better: there’s no way to stream on the TV, and the restaurant doesn’t open on weekend afternoons or evenings. Those are minor issues, though.

We stayed at the Larwill for one night in February 2026 while visiting Victoria. The room was roomy, comfortable and quiet, with a lovely morning view over the park. It’s conveniently located on a main tram line into the city.
