Together Co-Living

I’m posting from my son’s Google account because I can’t log in to mine. We were disappointed with our stay at Together Co. The location was ideal for our hospital appointments, but the accommodation didn’t work for us, and we left after one night of the two we’d booked. They wouldn’t refund the second night. Before booking I called to ask whether the pool was heated and was told yes. I checked again at arrival and got the same answer. But the pool was freezing, not heated, and so dirty that I wouldn’t have gone in even if it had been warm. Leaves, sticks and other debris floated on top, and there was a grimy film. The staff clearly didn’t know whether it was heated. The room was unbelievably small, and despite booking two beds for my son and me, it had only one queen bed, so we had to share. The night was noisy too, with doors slamming, banging and inconsiderate people in nearby rooms all night. The location was great, but the stay itself wasn’t.

The shared spaces are laid out well, and there’s a relaxed, upbeat atmosphere. I found it easy to settle in, with modern, clean rooms that were quieter than I expected and handy amenities. Staff are warm and approachable, and the community aspect feels natural: join in when you feel like it, or keep to yourself. One of my best co-living stays in Melbourne.

Working from home a lot as a young professional, I found TogetherCo Living a great fit. The apartments were nicely furnished, the internet was fast, the amenities were good, and the staff were kind and helpful. The problem was temperature control. Rooms in direct sun get extremely hot around midday in any season, and you can’t control the AC separately. When the rest of the building is at 12 degrees, the AC can only heat, so my room could be 32 degrees even in winter.

I spent two weeks here and felt safe and at home. Met plenty of other young professionals working from home in the shared offices. Secure parking, a clean outdoor pool, and a big gym that’s open any time. The staff were great too.
