Warburton Digs

We were nine people, two families ranging in age from 3 to 41, and there was enough room for everyone without feeling crowded. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds were comfortable with fresh, clean linen. The owners checked in on arrival day to make sure everything was okay and were easy to reach if needed. The mountain views and wild birds from the front deck were lovely to wake up to each morning. We arrived at this beautifully presented property over Easter, in an amazing location, and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. I can highly recommend Warburton Digs and we’ll definitely be back.

There were eight of us at Warburton Digs, and we’d definitely stay again. The kitchen had plenty of bench space and was fully equipped for cooking, while the big screen TV and lovely dining table were great to have. We also enjoyed the views from the deck. With two bathrooms and continuous gas hot water, showering was no problem.

We had eight of us for a brilliant girls’ weekend, with heaps of room and an easy walk into warby. There’s plenty to see and do nearby, too. The huge verandah was a favourite for taking in the spectacular views and local wildlife. The place was clean, cosy and super comfortable, with quality linen and amenities. The kitchen, laundry and barbecue were fabulous, and the toasty fire made a freezing weekend feel just right. Flawless for us. We’ll definitely be back!

The accommodation itself was pretty nice, and I’d hoped to return whenever we were near warburton. We travel to different suburbs every week to enjoy regional areas, and had been booking a different place each week for six months without anything like this happening. After we left, the owner called and accused us of taking two blankets. We’d paid an extra $100 cleaning charge and left most of the house tidy and clean, but Larry still said the house was dirty and wasn’t a party house. It was very disappointing. After that call, we’re not coming back.
