The apartment was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean, with a well-equipped kitchen, large TV, washer and dryer, and allocated undercover parking. The pool and garden were well maintained. It's a lengthy walk into town over the bridge and beyond, though Sails is well placed in relation to the bridge and most holiday accommodation is in this area. The owner, Rhys, was very helpful and let us check in early. A TV in the main bedroom would be useful, and a queen bed would be more comfortable. The ensuite is very small, dark and narrow. We also had a shock when someone came in to upgrade the front door without knocking or telling us in advance. That privacy breach cost a star. Otherwise, it was a lovely stay.

The view from the apartment was beautiful, a real treat with morning coffee or while relaxing in the evening. The place was spotless, well kept and had everything we needed, so it felt like home. Our host greeted us warmly despite our late arrival and was very accommodating. We had a fantastic stay at Sails Luxury Apartments and look forward to returning. The hosts welcomed us as soon as we pulled into the driveway and showed me around. The rooms were clean, roomy, and had a modern beachy feel, with all the bits and bobs we needed. It's right by the bridge and main beach, and within walking distance of almost everything we wanted to see. The pool is a nice size and easy to get to from the lower-floor apartments. Merimbula is beautiful and there's more for us to see and do, so we'll definitely be back.

We couldn't fault the apartment. The beds were extremely comfortable, the unit was very clean, and the kitchen had everything we could possibly need and more. Rhys was fantastic and went above and beyond to make our stay even better. The location is perfect. We stayed in the unit another reviewer called too noisy, but the bedrooms are at the rear and we didn't hear any traffic. We're fussy about accommodation, so that's saying something.

I booked a two-bedroom apartment assuming it had wheelchair access, but Leanne at Sails Luxury Apartments got in touch to explain I'd made a mistake and the accessible apartments were already booked. She still spent time trying to see if we could get access to one, though she wasn't able to. Her customer service was fantastic, and I'm grateful she tried so hard to help. We'll definitely stay here in the future. I wanted to acknowledge Leanne's assistance and say thank you.
