Young kids can walk along the sand bars if you visit near low tide, which makes this a great family spot. There are toilets and parking, though the parking does fill up quickly.

There’s a lovely little play area by the water, with access to the water too. It’s shallow and calmer than the ocean, so children can play there. Birds wander around, and there are toilets and nearby parking. We also found a coffee cart selling snacks and other things.

Such a beautiful, clean beach for kids. The water has hardly any waves, so it felt very safe for them to swim, and we spotted lots of fish. There are toilets and an open quick shower area, not private but fine for a quick rinse. We’ll definitely come back.

I’ve taken my kids to the playground here many times, and they’ve really enjoyed it. Other people come for things like BBQs, birthdays, fishing and splash fun. As a mother, I can get out of the house with my little ones, meet other parents, share experiences and give my kids healthy social time. Loved it.
