We had a great time at Wandarrah Lodge. The room was clean and nicely presented, with a really comfortable bed, and the shared areas had plenty of cooking facilities and were well maintained. The person we met on arrival, who I presume was the owner, was very friendly and gave great service. We accidentally locked ourselves out at a strange hour, and he still managed to smile after being woken up. Thanks for a lovely stay. We’ll be back if we’re in Merimbula again!

My husband insists on ethnic food, so I need to cook for him, and Wandarrah Lodge’s large, roomy kitchen had all sorts of cookware and utensils. I used to stay in hotels, but this worked well for us. I’d recommend the hostel if you’re staying to play golf, as there are many golf courses nearby. Wonderful place!

We stayed for five nights and couldn’t find fault with the place. It was extremely clean, the location was fabulous, and both owners were friendly and accommodating. The beach, lake, shops and main street are all within walking distance. There were families and backpackers staying, so it suited different kinds of visitors. My partner and I will definitely return to Wandarrah Lodge soon, and we’ve recommended it to friends and family.

Wayne & Betty were really helpful with tips and recommendations for things to do on our holiday. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and more than we expected. The location was perfect, close to the beach and just a short walk from town shops and cafes. Great value for money. We loved our stay at Wandarrah Lodge and will definitely stay here again when we return to Merimbula.

The owner was reasonable and provided good accommodation. The rooms are sized well for either four or six beds. Downstairs, there’s a decent sized eating area with enough room to talk and play pool, plus a comfortable, fun lounge with a ping pong table.
