We were there outside ski season. The rooms are a good size and clean, though a little tired. I think I’ll be back.

Nice location, a good-sized room, and a really comfortable bed. The shower also had decent water pressure, if that matters to you. If you’re staying here, I’d strongly recommend eating at the Hunt Club pub up the road.

We found it very convenient that the place is easy to get to and rents snow clothes and accessories for people heading to Mount Buller. There’s also a little market at reception, which came in handy when we’d forgotten toothpaste. We booked a king room, but it’s basic accommodation overall. At check-in, we weren’t given useful details like the Wi-Fi password, reception contact or hours, or how housekeeping worked. The bedside lamp and clock were both there, but neither worked and they seemed purely decorative. We could hear dripping inside the room when it rained one night. Shampoo, conditioner, and soap weren’t provided, and there was no cleaning or tidying during our two-night stay.

The manager made us feel so welcome and went above and beyond to meet our needs. The customer service was great, and our spacious family room had comfortable beds. The kitchenette was fully equipped, with a TV in the main front room and another area at the back for the children. There were electric blankets on the beds and good climate control with a split system. Each room looked out over green paddocks, and it was quiet and peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay and would come again. Thank you very much!
