The reception lady was absolutely lovely, and the location makes it easy to do lots around the GC. For the price, the rooms and pool area are very good value. You get clean linen and a clean room, a nice pool, and a great location for cheap. Anyone expecting something super fancy should keep the price in mind. We had a really nice stay.

The room temperature was comfortable, the air conditioning worked, and the shower was fine. Check-in went smoothly. It’s clearly not a high-end hotel, but it delivers what you’d expect from one of the cheapest places in the area. The place doesn’t look especially inviting, and I’d have preferred a duvet instead of just a sheet.

We stayed overnight and had a great time. The room was clean and there was nothing to fault there. Even with the place quite busy during schoolies week, noise wasn’t an issue. The pool was awesome for an early morning swim.

The location was great, close to cute cafes, not too city-centre and not too far from the beach. The pool was clean, and our room was spacious, clean, and had more amenities than we could possibly need. I found the place much better than expected. My usual motel experiences in Australia have felt creepy, odd, or smelly, but this one made a good first impression. The late check-in message was very clear, explaining the entrance, where to park if the undercover lot was full, where to find the phone number, and where to collect the key. I arrived at 10pm and still found undercover parking.

The manager was polite and helpful, and the motel was neat, tidy, clean, and well maintained. It’s about 500 metres from the beach, and close to shops and transport.
