The beef black bean was delicious, but the room needed a proper clean, not just a quick do over. They only have Asian food. Don’t order lunch, it’s basic and overpriced.

I’ve stayed twice, only because the other accommodation in town was booked out. The staff seem friendly enough, but the rooms are dirty, as others have said. There was a cockroach in the room on my first stay and a stain on the bedding the second time. They don’t provide a duvet, doona or comforter, just a bottom sheet, a top sheet and a measly thin weave blanket. I’ll just crank up the a/c.

The location is handy, with the Tavern 150 mtrs away and the shopping centre across the street. There’s a bakery there that makes a great coffee. The bed was great and the room comfortable, though more attention to cleaning details would help. Staff were very friendly, including the incredibly friendly team at the onsite Chinese restaurant, where the food was good. All in all, great value for money.

The hand basin in the bathroom was filthy, and the coffee mug still had old coffee in it. There were broken tiles and dirt built up along the walls. Need I go on?
