The pool and restaurant make this an easy, affordable place to stay nearby, and the laundry has everything you need. We spent seven nights here over the last fortnight for a family birthday staycation, and the air-conditioned room was a welcome break from the heat. Kieren, the manager, was delightful. He handled every request with respect and a smile. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable, and the shower hot. There’s also a smoker’s area close by, and the car park has security cameras. I’d happily recommend it.

The rooms were clean, and we were greeted by friendly staff with smiles. The price is good too. I’ll be staying here monthly for our business trips from now on. Mccc Earlville. Kieron

The staff were friendly and so helpful, offering to assist us however they could. We’d broken down late at night, and The Barrier Reef Motel was the only place that answered our call. They found us last-minute accommodation and let us leave the car there until it could be towed the next morning. After such a hectic evening, the clean, quiet room gave us a great rest.

It was fairly quiet despite being on a main access road, and the town was an easy walk away. The room was clean and tidy, with a good bed. The water pressure could’ve been better, though, and the water wasn’t very hot.

The place had a good, casual feel, the staff were friendly, and I felt safe staying there. The rooms are pretty good for Innisfail. I loved the chilli prawns spaghetti, especially because it wasn’t loaded with sauce, just how I like it. It was very filling, and I had it three nights in a row. The steak was awesome too.
