Apex RiverBeach Holiday Park

The swimming beach across the road is a real bonus, and the amenities have always been spotless, with clean toilets and showers. We’ve been coming to Apex River Beach Caravan Park Mildura every Easter for 13 years, and it’s a tradition we love. The staff are welcoming and friendly every time. There’s been so much improvement over the years, including lush green grass after the floods and a huge camp kitchen. The team makes the long weekend fun for the kids, with reptile shows, horse rides, face painting and a disco. The Easter egg hunt is still the highlight each year. It’s a perfect family getaway, and we hope to keep coming for many more years.

Janine and the staff were lovely, and the facilities were clean and new. The unpowered sites had some shade, and the camp kitchen was good, though I wish it were enclosed. I was travelling alone and felt really uncomfortable when a strange man who seemed to live on the camp kitchen benches kept insisting that I drive him into town to “go to the stores.” I saw him there all day, from 6 am to 11 pm. I’m very young, and he singled me out instead of asking someone else. I was scared that night and barely slept. It was one of the worst encounters I’ve had. I don’t know why they didn’t ask him to leave. I didn’t report it because I didn’t have time to waste, and just left for another park. I’d recommend the place if he’s no longer there.

A clean, well equipped two bedroom villa, tucked between parkland and the river beach. A lovely escape from the noise of the city.

My husband and I always stay here when we’re in Mildura, and we love this park. The new amenities blocks are five star, with excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water. It’s close to town and lots of shops, and the river beach is amazing. The only negative is the hoons driving noisy vehicles down the road late at night and early in the morning. That’s not the park’s fault. Highly recommend!
