The location made this an easy overnight stay, with restaurants, Coles, Woolies and the main part of town nearby, plus the river a short walk away. Thick glass kept out both the street noise and heat, and I could watch the sunrise from the big balcony with a cuppa. I only booked because my flight home was unexpectedly cancelled. Reception were friendly and helpful on the phone, and quickly found me a reasonably priced one-bedroom apartment at Indulge on 8th street. Check-in was easy, and the room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The kitchenette had the usual kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery, tea and coffee, plus a coffee machine and sandwich press that came in handy for breakfast. The king bed and pillows were so comfortable I slept soundly. The bathroom was huge and clean, with a great rain shower and good water temperature and pressure. There was a chair, small desk, RC air con and air purifier, all working well. I gave it four stars only because the grouting could use a deep clean. I'm a self-confessed neat freak, so maybe that's a bit pedantic.

After six weeks on the road and stays at 14 different places, this was the highlight. The staff were so helpful and accommodating when we needed to update our booking. A wonderful place to stay, highly recommended.

I enjoyed my stay at Indulge in the CBD. It was modern, comfortable and mostly convenient, with a spacious room and a nice balcony overlooking one of the main streets. Lots of places to eat are an easy walk away, and it was good value for money. Parking is included behind the building, which is handy, though moving the car around check-in and checkout took extra time. You first park elsewhere to check in, then collect the pass from your room and move the car. At checkout you have to take the pass back to the room before leaving. Not a big deal, just a little inconvenient. Keyless entry by fob or code worked well.

The reception staff were lovely, and coffee pods and milk were topped up when the room was serviced each day. The room was bright and airy, with plenty of space and a view over a busy street corner. It stayed quiet apart from a few guests banging doors as they left. The bed was comfortable, and there were two pillow types to choose from. I'd love to stay here again.

The apartment was beautifully decorated, and the air con was already running when we arrived on a really hot day, so we could settle in comfortably. There are lots of local places just a short walk away. Such a beautiful place, we'd definitely stay again.
