The woman at reception really went out of her way for us. The staff were helpful and the service was great. We appreciated it a lot.

The biggest problem for me was the box air conditioner. You need it in the heat, but it was so loud that sleeping was difficult. I had to stay two nights after becoming ill and needing to extend my visit. When I couldn't add another night, I booked at the Miles Outback Motel instead. It cost $1 less and had a large room on a spacious property, with split system air conditioning. That felt like heaven by comparison. This motel is just average, very small at only 12 rooms, and its pool seems to attract families with noisy kids even outside school holidays.

Our car broke down, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. They were friendly too. I'll definitely come back when I'm passing through again.

The host at check-in was friendly and quick, and the price was very reasonable. It's a no-frills place, but the room was clean and spacious, with a good bed and heating. Towels were good, water pressure was excellent, and there was a microwave, fridge and tea-making setup. The pub and supermarket are across the road. Recommended.
