Miles Outback Motel

Convenient spot right on the main street, and they welcome dogs. The little motel is lovely and clean, with fluffy towels and good value for money. Each room has its own parking garage you can get into from the room. The receptionist was very nice too.

We came through Miles with the family and were checking in late. The motel called ahead and gave us all the arrival details, with the A/C already on when we got there. Our rooms were clean and comfortable, and the family was happy. Great staff and motel. 10/10. Keep up the service, we'll be back.

I ended up booking here for a third night after the first motel had no vacancy, and I wish I'd chosen this place from the start. I assumed the motel with more rooms wouldn't be as good, but this sprawling property has 27 rooms, more than twice the other place. I slept badly there because its noisy box air conditioner was around the corner and didn't cool the room well. Here the rooms are large and well laid out, with split system air conditioning and generous parking bays. I was surprised it cost $1 less per night than the other motel. It's in the town centre, just a few buildings from the Q Hotel and Food Works, without needing to cross the road. Don't let the gravel driveway put you off: rooms 19-27 have a fully concrete rear driveway and are quiet at the back of the large complex. The staff are so kind and caring, and seem ready to do anything for you. The cheaper place turned out to be the best one. Thank you so much.

The manager was thoughtful and kind, and we felt welcome. The motel has country charm, clean lovely rooms and comfortable beds. The kids were delighted by the little treats left in the room. When the manager found things my toddler had left in the bed, they posted them back to us. So kind, thank you!
