The big park and garden with its enormous playground is right across the road, and the shops are just a block away. Barbara and Louis were delightful hosts. They each came to ask for honest feedback and what might have made us more comfortable, which showed how much they care about guests having a great stay. We certainly did. Traveling with a toddler, we especially loved the roomy common area, with a TV, fireplace, piano, pool table, dining table and plenty of carpet for her to roam. Once she was asleep in our room, we could pop out and watch a movie. A fantastic stop on our way through Millicent.

They fitted us in at very short notice, and the place felt so homely. The homemade biscuits waiting on arrival were a lovely touch. Everything was presented beautifully, and the hosts were lovely. Highly recommend!

Evergreen really does feel like a home away from home. We had homemade biscuits in our room to enjoy with a cuppa, and the hosts were great. Highly recommended.
