Millicent Lakeside Caravan Park

The drive-through sites have plenty of room, and the park is next to the swimming lake, with town only a short walk away. It's a nice enough park, but one of the owners didn't give us that welcoming 'hope you enjoy your stay' feeling. Every interaction felt like an inconvenience. Dogs are allowed, though the owners clearly aren't dog lovers.

Of all the caravan parks on our road trip from Sydney to Perth, this was the best. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and having a campfire on Christmas Eve made our stay really special. Highly recommended!

Every cabin, including the deluxe unit, is very small and has just one bedroom with beds in it. There isn't a cabin with a separate living space free of beds. So if you ask about a two-bedroom cabin, expect one or more people to sleep in the living area beside the fridge and TV. The bedrooms are separate from the living space, with no dining table, fridge or sink in them. Service from the new owners was poor. Millicent itself is great, but I'd stay somewhere else next time.

A well set-up cabin that works well for a family. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water. The lounge was actually comfortable to sit on too.
