Comfort Inn Traralgon

Wouldn’t recommend it. The bathroom smelled mouldy, and there was no face washer. We got only one small bar of soap for handwashing and nothing else. There was a toaster, kettle and microwave, but no bowls or plates, just a teaspoon.

The rooms were tidy, well cared for and cleaned daily, and the service was good. Still, there was no crockery or cutlery at all. Since there’s a microwave, a couple of bowls and some utensils would be useful. The area was quite loud.

The first room had men’s underwear in a drawer and old pizza in the microwave. I was moved to another room, but there was mould in there and what looked like pubic hair in the shower.

The Deluxe Rooms don’t match what’s advertised. There are better options in Traralgon than this dated and misleading motel. The air conditioner looked as though it hadn’t been cleaned since it was installed, the rooms were filthy, some appliances were old, and some power outlets didn’t work. You could hear every movement from the guests upstairs. The Deluxe Twin is pictured and advertised as having two beds, but I got one bed and a futon with no extra bedding. If you’re lucky enough to find an iron in the room, it may not work. The rooms look like they belong at a crime scene.
