Governor Gipps Motor Inn Hotel

Clean, modern rooms with comfortable beds and excellent showers. The reception staff were great, and the location was handy for shopping or medical appointments. Easy to get in and out, and ideal for a quick visit.

I’ve stayed at nearly all the motels around here for work, but keep coming back to this one. It’s super clean, the beds and pillows are comfortable, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. Rooms are cleaned daily, with fresh towels and bedding. There’s everything you need, including coffee, tea, milk, a microwave and toaster. I’ve been disappointed by cleanliness at other local places, so I’ll keep staying here whenever a room is available.

Easy check-in and checkout, and the room was clean and comfortable. Inexpensive, too.

I’d requested a ground-floor room and paid for two nights. They emailed to confirm it, but when I arrived there wasn’t one available. After about an hour of trying to sort it out, the manager took me to another motel, found me a ground-floor room and paid for it. She asked me to come back the next day. I went home instead and lost my money. I didn’t trust that I’d get a ground-floor room if I returned. You can’t always count on requests being met, even when they’ve said they will be.
