The amenities block was very clean, the laundry was good, and the grounds were really well maintained. Trains were a bit noisy at night, though it wasn’t a huge problem overall. Nice site, and we’d come back.

We spent three nights in cabin 39. It’s dog friendly and adequate, with a good location in a cute, quirky park. The main road and railway do make it a bit noisy. For the price we paid, the cabin really needs a refresh. The second bedroom with bunks has a door so close to the floor that it’s hard to move, the reading lamps don’t work, and there’s no bedside table.

The cabin (28) was fully equipped, and we loved it. The location was handy too. We stayed for a few nights, though the railway was a bit of a nuisance, especially if you’re a light sleeper.

We only stayed overnight, but the cabin was lovely. The bed was very comfortable, the linen immaculate, and everything else was clean and well maintained. We arrived late and found the key easily in a coded lockbox, a great system.

It’s a quiet park, just a short drive from town, with a large, fairly level site close to the facilities. We only used the toilets; they were clean but a little outdated. The drive-through sites seemed very small, so take care if you have a larger caravan.
