There’s plenty of space, shaded seating, and a covered outdoor kitchen with a stove, hot plates, and fridge. Staff are very nice and approachable, ready to help when needed. Coles, woolies, and Aldi are all within a ten-minute drive. We had a cabin that sleeps six overlooking the Murray River. It was clean and had everything we needed, including working smart TVs in the lounge and bedroom, clean crockery, a microwave, small fridge, dishwasher, and a complimentary hospitality tray. The rooms were spacious with huge wardrobes and ample storage, and there were extra blankets, an iron, and cleaning supplies. We fished in the river, and paid boat rides are available. The park has three swimming pools, a big water play area, an arcade games room, go-carts, and a movies area. There was also an ice cream truck, a boost juice truck, and a mini tuck shop in a tent, open for limited hours.

We’ve stayed here many times over the years, but this time we were very disappointed by the neglected, unclean cabins. Items were missing, the bunk room bed covers smelled, kitchen items were dirty, and everything was dusty. One cabin still had fat splashes all over the stove. The cleaners went into the cabin next door and were done in 15 minutes, so it’s no wonder things aren’t being done properly. The cabins felt dirty and disgusting. We won’t be back, and will find somewhere else to stay on future visits.

The place is peaceful, spotless and the staff are friendly. It’s very nice for the price, and my membership saves me even more. The taps are spaced a long way apart, though, so my hose only just reached. Ask for a site beside a tap. I’d happily stay again.

The park has lovely river views and good amenities, but the cabin cleanliness was nowhere near what I expected for $1300 for five nights in a deluxe cabin. There were ants on the kitchen surfaces as soon as we arrived, dirty walls throughout, especially in the kids’ room, and the doona covers on their blankets hadn’t been changed. I found previous guests’ hair in the bathroom drawer, mould in the shower, splash marks on the toilet floor and a toilet brush so filthy I wouldn’t touch it. The pool scum line with kids’ names carved into it topped things off. It felt like the cleaners had simply been lazy, and the cabins need a deep clean to be hygienic. We were with two other families who had cleanliness problems too, and I saw another family complaining about their cabin at check-in. We won’t be back.
