Talo Retreat

Mum and I had a quick weekend girls' getaway and stayed in one of the premium villas. It was clean and tidy, and the beds were so comfortable that I slept really well. The heater didn't seem to work properly and might need cleaning. I also thought it was a bit silly, given the price, that guests have to wash their own dishes and take out all the rubbish or get charged a fee.

We had such a lovely, peaceful stay and will definitely come back. The place feels really romantic, and we loved having a bathroom and barbecue of our own at each tent. The outdoor spa bath was great, and the yurt itself was really nice, with a timber floor and little kitchen.

The cabin felt cozy and just like home, with really comfortable beds. We stayed four nights and loved where the resort is. The only drawback was the eco friendly lighting, which could have been much brighter, especially in the kitchen. Otherwise, it was a delightful stay.

Rick was fantastic with the kids, feeding the farm animals with them and taking both the little ones and their parents for fun morning tractor rides. The resort had plenty for children and adults, the staff were friendly, and the grounds and features were very well kept, with lovely views. We had a wonderful time and plan to return. Our only complaints were the cold concrete floors in winter, especially for children, and not having an electric blanket. A mat in the bedroom and lounge would have helped.
