The goats were such a cute part of our stay, and we loved being around them. Lyn and Haydn were so welcoming, too, and even greeted us with a delicious loaf of bread. Engadine Cottage is peaceful and lovely, with native plants and animals all around. We spent three nights here and would happily come back on our next vacation.

We only had three days here and wished we could have stayed longer. It was a peaceful haven for us after a very challenging 2020, and the surroundings are breathtaking. The cottage felt secure, was very clean and well appointed, and the hosts were generous, kind and helpful. Fresh bread, homemade jam and milk in the fridge were among the thoughtful touches we really appreciated. It would suit a family break or a work retreat, and is a lovely place to rest and recharge. We wish you all the best for 2021.

My two-year-old was happiest feeding the goats, and the outdoor setting was lovely too. The host had thought of little things like bread, butter, Vegemite for those who like it, plus some spices and soup. There was plenty more I could say about the place. It was just right for getting away, feeling alive, and losing yourself for a while. I highly recommend it.

We loved the farm stay feel, especially being able to interact with and feed the sheep and goats. The view of the Cradle Mountain ranges to the north was awe inspiring. The cottage itself was charming, clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. We only wish we'd had more time there.
