We chose this place for our elopement, and I'm so grateful we found it. I can't imagine how beautiful the grounds would be before arriving, but every turn revealed another special corner. The gravel drive up to the home is stunning on its own, and the care the host has put into maintaining the property is astounding. She was incredibly pleasant and welcoming, with homemade bread ready when we arrived. Inside, the cottage was so comfortable, with a perfect fire stove. The photos from our day are breathtaking because of this location. We even had surprise guests, Chop, a handsome pup, and Chicken, a friendly cat. You'd never guess a hidden gem like this was tucked away in the middle of nowhere. The photos had already impressed me, but being there was unreal. 10000/10. I'd recommend a stay to anyone coming through Tassie.

Scott and Deb Wilson were warm and welcoming hosts, eager to share their beautiful property with guests who appreciate it. The English-style garden is extensive, and their style and dedication really come through. Leave yourself enough time to wander through it. The guest cottage is spacious, elegantly decorated and comfortable, with a kitchenette stocked with a good variety of breakfast choices for you to prepare yourself. Old Wesley Dale Heritage estate has a rich early colonial history, and the house, outbuildings and guest cottage retain the feel of their original construction alongside modern conveniences. Highly recommended if you're visiting the Mole Creek area.

The gardens were amazing, and wandering around them was so relaxing. Our cottage was beautiful, comfortable and clean, just right for a quiet weekend away. The hosts were wonderful and friendly, and Chops the dog and his friend were there too. We arrived to fresh flowers on the table, a welcome card, and the wood fire laid ready to light. Highly recommend.

I had a wonderful stay at Old Wesleydale Heritage Cottage, cared for so thoughtfully by Deb & Scott Wilson. There's so much to explore in the grounds and local area, so I'd suggest staying longer than one night. The sunrise was so pretty that I got up at the crack of dawn to take photos. I took my time wandering the garden, chatting with the resident macaws, cows and bees. Apart from the birds and bees, it was so peaceful and quiet. The cottage was carefully thought through, with everything you could want, including a fridge stocked with essentials and fresh bread. It's those small touches that greet you on arrival, fresh flowers in a vase and the fire laid with plenty of wood for a warm night. I recommend it to garden lovers near and far.

The gardens were one of the highlights of our stay in Tassie. They're in a typical English country style, interesting to explore, and clearly took a lot of time to create and maintain. Garden lovers could spend a while wandering around. There's also a large area where birds are bred. The accommodation itself was an interesting and very comfortable self-contained large room, with a simple kitchen and ensuite. We were surprised to find breakfast supplies included, such as eggs, cereal and milk. The eggs came from hens scratching around the garden. I'm very happy to recommend this place.
