This pub is iconic. We were really impressed by the delicious food, and the new owners seem to be doing a great job. There's a family room with toys, so parents can eat while the kids play. We hadn't expected gluten-free options, but they had those too. Apparently a resident platypus comes by at sunset, which sounds amazing. Thanks for a lovely, authentic country experience.

We were staying at Mole Creek Cabins and had to try the Tassie Tiger Bar. Friday night was clearly a popular time to be there, but the service was still quick and full of smiles. The meals were amazing and delicious, with gluten-free options as well. Thanks to everyone at the bar, taking orders, serving, and cooking. We enjoyed it thoroughly and recommend dining here if you're visiting Mole Creek. You won't be disappointed.

We'd definitely stay here again. After hiking at Cradle Mountain on Valentine's Day, we were famished, and the restaurant dinner was truly delicious. We also had a couple of Valentine's drinks at the bar. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, especially one welcoming, personable bartender whose name we think was Margo. Our queen room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed, sink and TV. The shared bathrooms and showers were clean and well maintained, with several in both the women's and men's areas, so we never felt crowded or had to wait. We didn't see the famous Mole Creek platypus this time, but the property is beautiful, with plenty of outdoor seating along the creek to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

A lovely, warm and cozy stop while travelling. The homemade lamb pie was incredible, and the buttery pretzel alongside it was delicious too. There was outdoor seating with views of nature and ducks on the creek, and the atmosphere felt calm and inviting.

We were staying in Mole Creek and came to the pub for dinner. The owners have German heritage and a really distinctive, excellent menu, which was a pleasant surprise. Both the food and service were excellent. We'll certainly be back to stay. Well done, and thank you. Ric Q
