We had a great time here over the Christmas break. Our group got bigger, but the owners accommodated us and found rooms close together. The cozy rooms and warm living areas felt like home, helped along by the Christmas decorations. The kitchen had plenty of good cookware for preparing food for our Cradle Mountains hike. The location worked well, about an hour from the mountains and 15 minutes from the local Woolies. In the mornings we saw sheep and wallabies, and some friends spotted Tasmanian devils after dark. A good choice with kids. We loved it.

A local Pademelon came by to forage on the property, which was a lovely surprise. The studio cabin sits in a picturesque spot, with stunning balcony views. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen had what we needed, and the bathroom was clean, though the shower was quite small. I'd happily recommend staying here.

The cabins are gorgeous, and the panoramic views were fantastic. They had everything we could have asked for. Of all the places we stayed while travelling in Tasmania, this was easily the best.

Really lovely area around these cabins, and they suit families as well as people travelling alone. The place was amazingly clean, and we appreciated the heated blanket. The TV was nice and had Netflix, 9 Now and more. I'd definitely stay here again.

We had a very cozy, comfortable stay at Trapper's Lodge, with great views of the Western Tiers and the caves about 20 minutes away. There's a big range of amenities, plenty of rooms to spread out in, and lots of heating and air conditioning options. I'd especially recommend it for a longer visit, so you can settle in.
