We spent a week at Excellsior and loved the outlook beside the river and canals. It’s peaceful, but there’s plenty to watch as people head out to exercise at the start and end of the day. The small, simple pool was the perfect temperature for a lazy dip. Our unit was spacious and comfortable, with an extra-large TV and a kitchen stocked with lots of extras. Management were friendly and welcoming. The unit was clean, and we couldn’t fault our stay. Hope to be back soon :)

Kate and Kirsten are such delightful hosts. The rooms are tidy and comfortable, the location is perfect, and it’s affordable. For an “old-school” Sunshine Coast experience, this is the place. Very highly recommend!

We were in Room 4 on the ground level, which had lots of space and felt comfortable. The large king bed, huge Smart TV, tidy kitchen, and our own coffee machine made it feel like home. Secure parking was a nice bonus. The setting is quiet and scenic, away from the busy CBD, but the Mooloolaba Surf Club and Wharf area are still an easy 700-metre walk along the river. Kirsten, Kate, and Charlie were warm, welcoming hosts who were always glad to help, which made the stay feel personal and relaxed. We had a terrific time at The Excellsior and Sailfish Cove Apartments at 104 River Esplanade, Mooloolaba. Clean, peaceful, comfortable, and highly recommended.

The river views are stunning, and the pool was really refreshing. We stayed in the two-bedroom unit at Sailfish cove. It was basic, but had all the amenities we needed. The staff are a real gem and even arranged decorations for my son's birthday. Check-in was easy, secure parking was excellent, and the location made it a great base for exploring the area. We’d definitely stay again.

It’s an easy walk from this top-floor one-bedroom apartment to everything, and the location is great. The space felt cramped and a bit tired. The kitchen and bathroom have had some upgrades, but there’s still plenty more to do. The sofas were okay, though not comfortable for watching a movie.
