Reflections Moonee Beach - Holiday Park

The beach is awesome and the park is nice, with clean amenities. We booked a premium caravan site, but the car parked for the adjoining cabin blocked the only beach view from our spot. Maybe the park could look at a way to fix that in future.

The staff are amazingly friendly and happy to help with anything, and it’s such a lovely park. We had our own van and a great time, and I’d definitely stay again. The reason for four stars is the showers outside the main block. Water was spurting everywhere, and they weren’t as clean or well maintained. The rubbish area at the back also wasn’t very clean, though the one at the front was.

We often choose Reflections Moonee Beach, whether we’re in a powered site, cabin or tiny home. The accommodation is excellent, and the shared bathrooms are immaculate, with a team member seemingly always mopping or cleaning. The shared kitchen has everything you need and works well for family get-togethers. It’s easy to walk to the beach for a swim, the grocery shop, other shops or the pub, and plenty of other places are only 5-10 minutes away by car. A big reason we keep returning is that dogs are welcome in the better accommodation options here. At many other Reflections properties, dogs are allowed only on powered sites or in lower quality cabins. Couples travelling with a dog are willing to pay extra for somewhere comfortable, and Moonee Beach makes that possible. I think the other Reflections locations should reconsider what they offer couples with dogs. We enjoy the Reflections brand and its values, and have stayed at or visited a lot of its properties. Moonee Beach makes a great few-night break for locals, a stop on the way through, or a 2-3 week summer or winter holiday. With the long nearby beaches to walk every day, you leave feeling fit and healthy.

I really enjoyed the stay, but the tiny cabin had a wet dog smell. I was surprised they allow such big dogs in cabins that small.
