The shared bathrooms were roomy, clean, and had good hot water pressure. The park itself is green and in a lovely spot, just outside town, and it’s passable overall. I stayed in a bungalow cabin, though, and wouldn’t choose one of the smaller cabins again. I know they’re old, which is fine, but they needed a better clean. The doona covers and spare blankets had lots of stains and didn’t seem to have been washed recently. Even if the bunks are meant for kids, the linen should still be clean. I can’t comment on the other accommodation. Wifi also wasn’t offered when we arrived, we had to ask, which was awkward outside office hours. Telstra had no signal either.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It’s one of our favourite caravan parks in Australia so far, peaceful and laid out well. The staff were friendly every time we saw them, and were always busy keeping everything tidy and clean. The park was immaculate. There’s a playground and jumping pillow to keep the kids occupied.

My son lost his phone while we were here, but the staff found it and posted it to us several days after we’d left. That honesty and care really meant a lot. We spent three nights on a powered site and had a lovely time. The park felt safe and welcoming, with plenty to keep the kids entertained. It’s a great place to stay for a few days in Mount Gambier. I’d recommend it, especially for the old-fashioned customer service that still seems to matter here.

We were in the town centre in about three minutes, though the park sits just outside it and still feels like camping. The sites are spacious and well looked after, and the flat ground made it easy for the kids to ride their bikes. They loved the playground and jumping pillow too. Check-in was one of the best I’ve had, pleasant and unhurried. Absolutely love this place.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and we stayed for three nights on a drive-through grass site. It was quiet while we were there, mostly older couples and only a few families. The ablutions were clean, though old, and the four showers felt cramped. Hot water was plentiful and the flow was good. There’s laundry and lots of clothes lines. Kids have a big play area, so they don’t need to be on the roads. The park says children can roam freely, but I hope parents don’t take that to mean letting them run wild, as many seem to. Attractions and shops are around 6 to 10 minutes away. I’d stay again if I came back this way, and would recommend it.
