The grounds and camping areas were kept in lovely shape, and the amenities were spotless. Everyone on staff was warm and welcoming. We had booked a powered site for seven nights, 6-13 January, but the weather turned and we headed off a day early. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back.

Those fire pits made a lovely spot to sit together in the evenings, and we really liked the group sites where four people could share a space and make a little area of their own. The campsites were very clean, the kangaroos friendly, and the staff and amenities were great.

The ocean water just outside the camp had an amazing colour, something I’d never seen before. I also met a team member called Roo while walking around. The friendly staff were always smiling, and the little restaurant served delicious food with a lot of love. There’s a small shop with almost everything important you might need, including fishing gear and bait, at the same prices as the supermarket. It also has a small fuel pump. The nearest supermarket is about a 45-minute drive away. Cheynes beach Caravan park is one of Australia’s best holiday parks.

We walked to the beach in just two minutes and made friends with the Roos. It’s such a beautiful spot to settle in and camp, whether you’re in a tent, caravan or campervan. The amenities and camp kitchen were spacious and immaculately clean.

You can walk or drive to the beach, and there are dump points on site. Takeaway food, essential groceries, bait, alcohol and fuel are available too. Our site was level and had good water and power. Great caravan park and staff, with clean amenities, camp kitchen and laundry.
