I just needed somewhere to sleep for the night. The price was a little higher than I expected, and all I had to sleep under was 2 sheets, no actual blanket. Pretty average overall.

It's in a convenient central location, and the rooms aren't too bad, though they could use a little elbow grease. A few minor touch ups would lift the place. The biggest nuisance is for rooms near Happy Land Chinese restaurant: you hear pots and pans banging until 9pm, then staff leaving work loudly.

There's a microwave, but with no cutlery in the rooms, bringing your own food to eat isn't really practical.

The attached restaurant was awesome, with great food and friendly staff. My evening meal was first class and really enjoyable. The check in ladies also deserve bouquets, they were all pleasant, smiling and happy at reception. But my room needed some TLC. The shower rose was broken and sent water everywhere when I turned it on, soaking the whole bathroom. There were no cups for tea or coffee, or teaspoons, despite the supplied sugar, tea and coffee. The carpet was dirty and had a cigarette wrapper on the floor. The bed was so uncomfortable it felt old, with all the springs broken. The air conditioning was taped up and looked very sus, so I didn't turn it on. My room was 16, and at $140 a night it was definitely over the top. I've stayed in many motels for $118 to $130 with far better facilities. The miners staying there also showed no respect for guests who don't need to wake at 4am, with loud cars, people talking outside rooms and reverse beepers blasting before sunrise. That's not the motel's fault.

The rooms are spacious, but badly need a revamp and are extremely outdated for what companies pay to put their workers there. The carpet is horrid, spiders are in most rooms, and there are only 3 washing machines for 40 guests. Beds get made once a week.
